A WorldBridge product — in development

AI-assisted pharmacy management for the UEMOA market

ApothiQ is a pharmacy management platform being built for West Africa: dispensing and inventory at the counter, a supply network behind it, an insurance and coverage engine designed for how reimbursement actually works in the region — and predictive intelligence across all three.

In active development. Design and specification complete; we are speaking with pharmacies about early deployment.

How the platform is designed

ApothiQ is specified across sixteen modules covering the counter, the stockroom, the supplier relationship and the financial back office. The sections below describe designed capability; the product is not yet generally available.

Dispensing and inventory

Counter dispensing tied to live stock, batch and expiry tracking, and controlled-substance handling.

Demand forecasting

Predictive models on dispensing history so reorder points reflect what a pharmacy will actually need, not last month’s average — reducing both stockouts and expiry write-offs.

Insurance and coverage

A coverage engine built on ICD-11 with prior-authorisation handling, aimed at the reimbursement schemes used across the region.

Supply network

Structured supplier exchange with dispute handling and a recall engine, so a withdrawn batch can be traced and pulled.

Smart procurement

Supplier selection scored across price, reliability, lead time and terms rather than price alone.

Payments without custody

Pharmacies connect their own Orange Money, Wave or Telecel credentials. Funds move between the pharmacy and its customers; WorldBridge never holds them.

Designed for

Independent pharmaciesSingle-site operators who need stock, dispensing and reimbursement in one system.
Pharmacy groupsMulti-site operators consolidating purchasing and reporting.
